MFSA publishes VFA rules for service providers

The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) has published the much anticipated final version of the VFA Rules for Service Providers (the ''Rules''), Chapter 3 of the VFA Rulebook. These Rules outline high-level principles aimed at guiding VFA Service Providers when offering their requirements and respective authorisation processes for the different license classes, detail the ongoing obligations which Service Providers must adhere to and provide the MFSA with the power to impose sanctions in the event of misconduct by Service Providers.

The document issued by MFSA can be accessed at the following link: https://www.mfsa.com.mt/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/VFAR_Chapter31.pdf
