Bank of Valletta and Malta Development Bank have launched a joint financing scheme to help local businesses coping with the impact of COVID-19 on their operations. Named the BoV MDB COVID Assist (BMCA), the scheme will allow SMEs to request a loan of up to €4 million. Larger companies can apply for up to €8 million.
Repayment terms can vary between 18 and 72 months, with a moratorium period of six months that can be extended to twelve, depending on particular circumstances faced by the applying enterprise.
Further information about the BMCA scheme can be found on BoV’s website >
