The Office of the Commissioner of Revenue has notified the extension of the following tax and reporting deadlines.
Payment of provisional tax: the deadline for the payment of the provisional tax for April 2020 has been extended to 31st May 2020. Since, due to the current health emergency, no form will be sent via post, the same can be downloaded by tax practitioners from the CFR website.
Electronic filing of tax returns: entities that had the deadline for the electronic submission of their tax returns set on 31st March, will be able to submit their tax returns electronically until 31st July 2020.
Risk Evaluation Questionnaire (REQ): the Office of the Commissioner of Revenue has notified that the deadline for the submission of the Risk Evaluation Questionnaire (REQ) has been extended to 18th May 2020, at 5 pm. Penalties for late submission will also be waived.
