Maltese employees impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic will be allocated a total of €80 million from the government wage supplement scheme. The financial support measures will, therefore, save 93,580 jobs, said Malta Enterprise CEO, Kurt Farrugia.
Economy Minister Silvio Schembri announced that further measures aimed at “stimulating the economy and generating economic activity", will be unveiled in the coming days. Among these, there are long-term plans to attract and boost investment in several strategic areas.
