What We Need From You

The Audit Administrator plays a crucial support role within our Audit & Assurance department, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of administrative tasks. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent typing skills, particularly for financial documentation. The Audit Administrator will also contribute to maintaining a professional office environment by assisting with reception duties as needed.

Your day-to-day tasks would include:

  • Document Management & Typing:

    • Accurately type, format, and prepare various audit-related documents, reports, and correspondence, including financial statements, engagement letters, and management representation letters.
    • Ensure all documents adhere to company standards and professional guidelines.
    • Manage and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring all audit files are organised, accessible, and compliant with retention policies.
    • Scan, photocopy, and bind documents as required.

 

  • Administrative Support:

    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the audit team.
    • Prepare spreadsheets, and other materials using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and couriers.
    • Assist with data entry and basic record-keeping.
    • Oversee the systematic archiving of completed audit files and other departmental records
    • Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks as they arise.

 

  • Office & Reception Duties (when the need arises):

    • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors and clients when performing reception duties.
    • Answer and forward incoming phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner.

 

About You

The successful candidate must have:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within a professional services or financial environment.
  • Exceptional typing speed and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

 

Skills that set you apart:

  • A diploma or certification in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, or a related field would be considered an asset.
