- Set up a D&I strategy and action plan.
- Have a D&I Partner who champions diversity and inclusion at the firm.
- Support all our employees with flexible working hours for a better work-life balance.
- Proactively source diverse future leaders and partners.
- Grant Thornton Malta has received the Company Award for Excellence in the Promotion of Women in Business 2020 at the HSBC “Malta Businesswoman of the Year Awards.”
- In 2024, Grant Thornton was awarded the Equality Mark by NCPE for its continuous efforts to promote equality with all of its employees.
Moreover, since the start of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee in 2020, the Committee has represented the voice of our employees, allowing us to enhance and encourage a more inclusive and diverse workplace. The achievements of the Committee include:
- Celebrating ‘World Day for Culture Diversity for Dialogue and Development’ at the office every year since May 2022.
- Promoting mental health amongst our employees throughout the year by offering an Employee Assistance Programme provided by ICAS through Atlas Insurance. This programme provides counselling sessions, 24X7 chat, articles, information videos and managerial support.
- Celebration of various milestones and cultural days in the D&I calendar.
