The funds raised were donated towards the project managed by Fondazzjoni Sebh, giving children in the Foundation’s care the opportunity to experience the magic of EuroDisney — a dream come true for many of them. Through this gesture, Grant Thornton Malta is proud to support Fondazzjoni Sebh’s mission to provide enriching experiences that foster joy and create lasting memories for children in out-of-home care.
To further support the initiative, Grant Thornton Malta topped up the amount raised by staff to a total contribution of €1,000. The firm also reached out to its network to source luggage donations, ensuring the children are well-prepared for their special trip.
Grant Thornton Malta's Managing Partner Mark Bugeja recently presented the donation to Svetlana Psaila from Fondazzjoni Sebh, commenting:
Fondazzjoni Sebh provides essential residential services for children requiring out-of-home care, as well as support for female survivors of violence and their children. The Foundation also runs community programs aimed at assisting young individuals and families as they transition to independent lives, free from abuse.
