As the festive period peaks and the year comes to a close, Grant Thornton Malta is proud to embrace the season in a spirit of giving Christmas gifts to the firm's partners.

The firm's employees raised EUR 1,100 in support of Dr Klown, the firm's charity of choice for this season, whose mission is to bring joy, laughter, and comfort to children facing illness through the healing power of play.

The presentation of the donation took place during a recent Staff Townhall meeting when Managing Partner Mark Bugeja formally handed over the firm's contribution to Maureen Amoroso, representing Dr Klown.

Dr Klown’s President Eric Muscat remarked “We are sincerely encouraged by the support of enterprises. This support allows us to dedicate our full attention to our primary purpose – bringing joy and laughter to children in hospital – while ensuring the sustainability of our work without constant fundraising demands.”

By choosing to give back at this special time of year, we embody the spirit of GT in the Community, which reflects our commitment to creating positive impact wherever we operate, by uniting people and businesses to drive meaningful change. The firm remains dedicated to working alongside its people and community partners to spread kindness, joy and hope during the festive season and throughout the year ahead.

This initiative came directly from our people, who chose to turn a simple festive gesture into something that could genuinely make a difference. Supporting Dr Klown means helping bring moments of laughter and relief to children and families going through incredibly challenging times, and that's something we feel strongly about as a firm. I'm proud of how our colleagues came together to support a cause that reflects the compassion and care we value at Grant Thornton Malta.
