Brandon Agius forms part of the Tax team at Grant Thornton Malta. In this role, he is involved in both direct and indirect taxation, supporting clients across a range of compliance and advisory matters in line with Maltese tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
Brandon began his journey with Grant Thornton in 2019 through the internship programme, gaining exposure across various departments including Marketing, Advisory, and Audit. This early experience provided him with a broad understanding of the firm’s operations and service offering. Over time, he also gained experience across different areas of taxation, including corporate tax compliance, VAT matters, tax reporting, and assisting on advisory engagements.
He later transitioned to a full-time role in 2024 within the tax department, where he continues to support a diverse portfolio of clients. Brandon has also gained international exposure through his experience working at a tax firm in the United Kingdom, where he was involved in tax-related work within a different regulatory environment.
Beyond his professional commitments, Brandon has a strong passion for football and actively plays at an amateur level.
