What We Need From You
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to support the team with foundational accounting tasks while also providing outsourced services to clients.
Your key responsibilities would include:
- Rebate Application Support: Assist in evaluating cash rebate applications, ensuring adherence to program guidelines, and identifying any discrepancies or financial risks.
- Financial Administration: Ensure the correctness of financial records, including working on the Funds Disbursement Sheets reconciliation process. Assist with financial reviews and monitoring program expenditures.
- Compliance: Support the enforcement of program regulations and policies, ensuring that all activities comply with applicable financial regulations and public funding guidelines.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Engage effectively with film producers, industry professionals, and government agencies to provide updates and address any questions related to the rebate program.
- Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of financial and administrative reports. Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of all rebate-related activities.
- Guideline Development: Assist in the development and management of the Cash Rebate guidelines to strengthen the client’s reputation.
- File Management: Maintain physical and electronic files regularly, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and the secure storage of all relevant documentation.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the rebate policies and procedures, identifying areas for efficiency and enhanced service delivery.
About You
The successful candidate must have:
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Financial & Analytical Expertise: Strong understanding of financial administration, including budgeting.
- Attention to Detail & Problem-Solving: Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
- Software Proficiency & Adaptability: Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while being adaptable to evolving industry needs.
