Mrinali, an Executive with Grant Thornton’s IT team specialises in Cybersecurity GRC and Regulatory Consulting. Throughout her career, Mrinali acquired experience in the implementation and upkeep of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) for prominent organisations throughout the EMEA region. With a proven proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, she navigates complex risk landscapes with precision and innovation. She is adept at helping organisations secure their digital assets, bolstering cybersecurity defences, and fostering a pervasive risk-aware culture.
Mrinali is also currently involved in assisting organisations implement their digital operational resilience strategy in line with the DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) regulation by offering tailored solutions and practical insights to this transformative legal act.
Throughout her learning path, she acquired a bachelor’s degree (with Honours) in Computer Science from the University of Mauritius. The highlight of her academic experience was a research project focused on machine learning and phishing. In this endeavour, she developed a machine learning model that predicts with a 95% accuracy whether a link in an email is malicious or a safe one. Complementing her academic achievements, she holds the title of a DORA Certified Compliance Specialist, awarded by the Cyber Risk Academy of ICTTF.
