Assistant Manager | Economic Advisory Team

Francesca is an Assistant Manager with Grant Thornton's Economic Advisory team. She has been with the firm for seven years, including a two-year placement in Grant Thornton’s Dublin office.​

During her time at Grant Thornton, Francesca has provided a range of economic research and advisory services for both government and industry including:

- Various market research, product development costings, economic impact assessments, risk analyses and business plans for private sector clients, mainly University of Malta projects financed under MCST’s fusion programme;

- Supports private sector clients in access to funding through local and EU grant schemes, involving the preparation of financial feasibility studies and business plans with economic justification specific to the funding requirement;

- Preparation of feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses and business cases to assist public sector clients in gaining access to funding through various channels including ERDF, NDSF, justification for increased budgetary allocation and PPP structures;

- Supporting Maltese government departments in drafting public procurement documentation (Preliminary Market Consultation documents, Request for Tenders and Request for Proposals) and supporting documentation, compatible with the e-Public Procurement Portal.

Francesca holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Economics and Management from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner. She is currently in the process of completing her final exams towards obtaining an ACCA qualification and has recently started pursuing a certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK.
