Malta and Armenia sign double taxation treaty

A double taxation treaty has been signed yesterday in New York between Malta’s Foreign Minister Carmelo Abela and his Armenian counterpart Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. The sides signed the agreement on excluding double taxation of income and preventing tax evasion.

Both ministers also pledged on expanding the cooperation in the trade, economic, agricultural and tourism sectors. Abela and Mnatsakanyan were in New York on the occasion of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
