Gordon Howe

Gordon is a senior technology professional with over 25 years of experience in the software industry, with a strong focus on data, systems integration, analytics, and AI-enabled transformation. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems from London Metropolitan University.

Since joining Grant Thornton Malta in 2020, Gordon has progressed from Assistant IT Manager into his current role as Senior Manager within the Technology and Data Enablement function. His early career encompassed core IT delivery and IT audit, followed by a specialisation in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), where he led IT audit, internal audit, and compliance engagements.

Building on this foundation, Gordon now focuses on leading technology and data initiatives across the organisation. His role centres on designing and implementing modern data platforms, integrating systems across the business, and driving automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. He ensures that governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory considerations are embedded within all technology solutions.

Gordon has extensive experience delivering and supporting a wide range of ERP solutions across both private and public sector organisations, spanning multiple industries and operating across a variety of database technologies. He also specialises in business process automation, business intelligence, and data analytics solutions, enabling organisations to unlock value from their data and adopt more predictive, insight-driven approaches.

He works closely with business leaders and technical teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and data-driven solutions that support digital transformation and operational excellence. Gordon is recognised for his ability to bridge traditional GRC disciplines with modern data, analytics, and AI-driven technology delivery, ensuring organisations achieve both regulatory compliance and sustainable growth.
