Clayton is a tech professional with a background in digital transformation. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Business and Information Technology, a Master of Science in Strategic Management and Marketing, and is currently reading a Master of Philosophy in Psychology degree with the Faculty for Social Wellbeing.
Clayton has worked at EY, PwC and RSM, delivering engagements with tight delivery timeframes and fixed budgets. Throughout these initiatives, he was involved in every stage of the project management lifecycle — coordinating from pre-project analysis to post-project reviews to ensure everyone was on the same page and everything was completed on time/budget/scope.
At ICT Solutions, Clayton leveraged his consulting experience to develop managed services catering to local market trends by designing tools such as the Cyber Confidence Pulse. Together with his team, he also stayed updated on clients' evolving needs by engaging with them directly while monitoring (or collaborating) with vendors, regulators, and other players. During his tenure, he started a newsletter called the Retrospective, which amassed a following of over two thousand followers.
Today, Clayton works with the tech team as a project manager at Grant Thornton, where he is responsible for delivering medium to large-scale transformational projects and fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. He is a proponent of enterprise operating excellence, implementing standardised processes and identifying opportunities for improvement. In his free time, Clayton chairs the PMI Malta Steering Committee, leading a team of board members by managing the strategic direction and operations of the organisation.
