Financial Regulatory Consulting - The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA)

The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) is the only Maltese regulator for all the vast financial services, such as investment, insurance businesses and banking, and also houses the Maltese Company Registry. The MFSA’s responsibilities include but are not limited to, working with important parties on different legislative matters, supervising all licensed financial businesses, monitoring local and international developments, and issuing guidance notes and it also plays an important role in training.

Malta’s prosperous financial services sector has thrived greatly, primarily thanks to the MFSA’s effective approach to business. The MFSA advocates for high standards of compliance and runs a consumer affairs unit which gives the Maltese licence reputability and credibility. Nevertheless, it aspires to maintain a broadminded approach, providing flexible vehicles which foster a favourable environment and draw more businesses to Malta.
