The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) has published the much anticipated final version of the VFA Rules for Service Providers (the ''Rules''), Chapter 3 of the VFA Rulebook. These Rules outline high-level principles aimed at guiding VFA Service Providers when offering their requirements and respective authorisation processes for the different license classes, detail the ongoing obligations which Service Providers must adhere to and provide the MFSA with the power to impose sanctions in the event of misconduct by Service Providers.
The document issued by MFSA can be accessed at the following link: https://www.mfsa.com.mt/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/VFAR_Chapter31.pdf
Our experts are able to offer a full range of services, which will cover not only all the requirements set out by the MFSA, but would also follow the process through from origination, to registration of your whitepaper or licensing and subsequent ongoing compliance so as to adhere to the Rulebooks.
Grant Thornton can also offer assistance with all taxation, legal and accounting requirements.
