In 2016, Roberta obtained a Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree and graduated as an advocate from the University of Malta in late 2017 after having read for a Masters in Advocacy. Roberta achieved the warrant to practice as an advocate in 2018.
During the first year of her professional career, Roberta was engaged with a local consultancy company wherein she gained a thorough hands-on experience in corporate and financial services law. Roberta commenced her Grant Thornton experience in June 2018 and has the role of an Executive within the legal, tax and regulatory team.
Her primary role within Grant Thornton is that of taking charge of various trusts and corporate work while also conducting due diligence checks and searches in order to identify whether Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism Act and Regulations are being complied with.
On a daily basis, Roberta provides support and assistance to the team in various other legal jobs as may be required.
