Chris holds a Bachelor (Hons.) in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta and is also a qualified accountant following completion of ACCA qualification in 2018. In the same year, he also completed the Advanced Valuation Certificate from New York University – Leonard N. Stern School of Business taught by Professor Aswath Damodaran.
After completing his University studies, Chris joined the audit team of an international audit company and worked there on full-time basis for three years mainly focusing on the asset management industry. In October 2015, he joined Grant Thornton’s transaction advisory team.
His work at Grant Thornton mainly comprises of corporate finance, with a special focus on financial due diligences, business valuations, financial and risk modelling, financial feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analysis. Throughout his tenure at Grant Thornton he gained experience in several industries including, hospitality, retail, real estate, banking and technology.
Further to his background in finance, he has also gained experience in the crypto space as he worked on building financial models for clients who were seeking admission on capital markets. Now he seeks to use that experience to give financial consultancy services to clients who want to venture in the virtual financial assets sector.
