Alex joined Grant Thornton in 2001 and was promoted to audit manager in 2009. He is in charge of a number of local and international clients including Maltese registered insurance companies.
Alex has gained significant experience in IFRS and International Auditing Standards and has been seconded on many occasions to Grant Thornton offices internationally, including London and Manchester in the UK and New York and Colorado in the US.
He has also been involved in the audit of US owned subsidiaries operating in Italy. The services provided to such clients include audit services and internal control work related to the Sarbanes-Oxley legislation including the reporting of findings to the respective primary auditors in the US.
