Reporting to the Managing Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible to develop and execute brand strategy and marketing campaigns to promote Grant Thornton’s services.  The selected candidate will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Develop brand and marketing strategies to improve brand awareness and market presence of the firm
  • Responsible for the creation, management and execution of the firm’s marcomms calendar
  • Co-ordination of marketing campaigns, promotional activities and events
  • Creation of digital content including regular updates on social media platforms to enhance brand awareness
  • Regular tracking, review and evaluation of marketing campaigns and social media effectiveness including recommendations on improvements
  • Carry out market research analysis on a regular basis
  • Website management, including creating blogs, and maintaining and uploading content, whilst managing SEO and Metadata, and compiling monthly reports
  • Working closely with external agencies, when required, to effectively manage campaigns, events, presentations, creation of promotional material and brochures
  • Support other teams within the firm on marketing activities mainly People & Culture and Business Development
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the market including media
  • Managing the annual marketing budget and ensures its effective use
  • Preparation of monthly marketing report to Managing Director and Partners of the firm
  • Other marketing related duties or projects as required by the firm from time to time

 

The selected candidate must possess:

  • Qualification in Marketing or commercial field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Sound knowledge of social media handles
  • Good contacts with the media channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Maltese and English
  • Organisational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Knowledge and practical experience in Photoshop would be an asset
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
