Our international tax and regulatory services team supports a wide range of international clients providing regulatory, corporate, accounting and tax services.
Due to expansion of our client portfolio, we have an open position for a dynamic individual who is sharp, efficient and diligent, able to work alone as well as within a team, focused, with good problem-solving skills, and able to maintain a pro-active approach towards work. This is a unique opportunity to work in a team, whilst also playing a crucial role to the business development for the team, delivering knowledge to clients and driving business growth.
The ideal candidate should be a qualified lawyer with an interest in corporate and financial services law, particularly capital markets, regulated financial services (insurance securities, banking and financial institutions), corporate governance and compliance. The chosen candidate will have an active role in accessibility to finance, particularly on alternative capital markets including Prospects MTF as well as other MTFs, crowdfunding and ICOs. Accordingly, applicants should possess strong client relationship skills, a willingness to gain up-to-date industry and legal knowledge, experience in the preparation and delivery of internal and external training, have a pro-active attitude and an eagerness to learn how to utilise market knowledge and technical expertise to propose creative solutions to existing and prospective clients. A one year relevant work experience is mandatory for this position.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, together with a strong command of both written and oral Maltese and English would be imperative for this position. A hands-on leadership approach will also be an essential consideration in the evaluation and selection of the right candidate.
